THE NECESSITY OF RESISTANCE

The Necessity of Resistance: Confronting Government Oppression and Genocide
In the face of unrelenting government oppression and genocide, the notion that pacifism is the only acceptable response is a dangerous illusion. When governments willfully commit atrocities against their own people, it becomes clear that the state has declared war on its own citizens. It is time to acknowledge the uncomfortable truth: resistance, including violence, is sometimes the only means to effect change, protect the innocent, and prevent further genocide.
The scourge of government-sponsored genocide, from Rwanda to Cambodia, has become a stark reminder of the need for decisive action. When governments use their power to oppress, torture, and murder their own people, it becomes clear that the system is broken. Pacifism, in the face of such brutality, is not only ineffective but also complicit in the oppression.
The mantra that “violence only begets violence” is a simplistic and misguided belief, perpetuated by those who would have us believe that inaction is a virtue. This fallacy has led many to acquiesce to government violence, hoping for a messianic figure to save them from the darkness. But history has shown us that evil will continue unchecked unless confronted with decisive action.
Government-sponsored genocide is a manifestation of the state’s desire to maintain control and crush dissent. The use of force against peaceful protesters, the suppression of free speech, and the persecution of minorities are all hallmarks of a regime that fears the power of its people. When the state uses violence to maintain its grip on power, it becomes clear that the people must rise up and resist.
The Bible, often cited as a justification for pacifism, can be seen as one of the oldest psychological operations, inducing a willful paralysis that prevents individuals from taking action against evil. This misguided belief in a divine savior has led to complacency and inaction in the face of injustice, allowing evil to flourish.
As the world descends into chaos, it is clear that nefarious government desires, backed by enforcement agencies, intelligence agencies, and infiltration agents, are reshaping the world in their image. Pacifism has failed to stem this tide, and it is time to acknowledge the necessity of resistance, including violence, in resisting evil. The notion that we can simply “pray away” the problems of the world is a delusional fantasy, and it is our responsibility to take action.
The belief that a messiah will save us from the clutches of evil is a dangerous illusion, perpetuated by those who would have us remain passive in the face of injustice. It is time to shatter this illusion and recognize that our salvation lies in our own hands. We must rise up and confront evil, using violence if necessary, to protect the innocent and create a just and peaceful world.
In the face of government-sponsored genocide, the people have a right to resist, including through armed struggle. This is not a call to violence for its own sake, but a recognition that sometimes, violence is the only means to effect change, prevent further genocide, and protect the innocent. The use of violence should always be a last resort, but it is a necessary option when the state has declared war on its own citizens.
The history of successful resistance movements, from the French Resistance to the Anti-Apartheid Movement, is a testament to the power of the people to effect change through collective action. It is time to recognize that the same courage and determination that drove those movements is needed today, in the face of government oppression and genocide.
In conclusion, resistance, including violence, is sometimes the only means to effect change, prevent further genocide, and protect the innocent. Pacifism, though well-intentioned, has proven itself a failed doctrine in the face of unrelenting government oppression and genocide. It is time to confront the uncomfortable truth and acknowledge the necessity of resistance, including violence, in resisting evil.
We must shatter the illusion of pacifism and take action, for it is only through collective effort that we can create a safer and more just world.
