Counterspin Media Manifesto
by Thomas S.
The ambitions of the globalists to dominate the world have been long in the making and no expense has been spared in slowly seducing successive generations to ever increasingly surrender their rights, their freedoms and their dignity to the emerging new world order.
As such, the generations alive in our time are but shadows of what their ancestors once were. And the youngest today are under full assault by globalist propagandists who seek to mold their young minds to accept a future that, otherwise left to flourish by natural course, they would never tolerate.
In this regard, so much of the world we live in today is dominated by the weaponisation of narratives, in which even casual information, what to speak of educational, entertainment or media publications, is found to be infected with propaganda that in some way supports globalist narratives.
After all, the general public is no longer merely a collateral consideration in a total warfare scenario. Rather, the citizenry are active players that are subject to manipulation in order to achieve predetermined outcomes and key objectives toward the destabilisation of a nation, regardless of their lack of awareness or willingness to participate.
Today however, citizen journalists around the world who recognise that we are at war and that we are living under globalist occupation, are shredding the narratives and the lies of the mainstream media and are bringing to light the crimes and corruption of the powers that shouldn’t be.
Citizen journalism is not without risks however, as Counterspin Media co-founders Kelvyn and Hannah Alp, who are facing the prospect of lengthy prison sentences after being targeted by the state, can attest to. Indeed, both Counterspin Media, as well as FreeNZ Media have faced harassment, seizure of equipment and assault and injury by the New Zealand Police.
In addition to this, the fake news legacy media has done their best to smear the reputations of the everyday Kiwis who have stood up to defend their country against the failed globalist coup in recent years. The resulting publicity often creates further hardship in terms of public life for those who are serving their country on the frontlines of the information war.
As such, those who volunteer their time and who put themselves and their reputations at risk to bring important information to the New Zealand public during these extraordinary times, are not dissimilar to the everyday men and women of previous generations who volunteered their lives to defend their countries during wartime. After all, this is warfare that we are dealing with and innocent lives have already been lost during the violations of the Nuremburg Code that took place during the fake pandemic.
For Counterspin Media, we are aware of the high stakes and the thankless nature of this venture, but with the scent of truth in our nostrils and with the pulse of justice in our veins, we offer this platform to the New Zealand people in order to stimulate and achieve critical mass of awakening in this nation. For as we have often made clear – truth must prevail before any possibility of genuine freedom can take place.
And should necessity dictate the offer or solicitation of outside assistance to the people of New Zealand in bringing the criminals in government to face judicial proceedings for their crimes, the population must first be informed of and digest the scale of the corruption at hand in order to consent and to avoid destabilising the nation.
As Sun Tzu, the Chinese military strategist and philosopher of the fifth century BCE wrote in his treatise on the Art of War:
“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
In this regard, although Counterspin Media strive to make the dissemination of truth as digestible as possible, we will also not shy away from taboo subjects and will go where other alternative media outlets fear to tread (angels as they might otherwise be). As such, Counterspin Media is a genuine threat to the criminals that govern this nation and who have participated in crimes against humanity.
It was with this in mind that globalist dictator Comrade Ardern referred to ‘disinformation’ as being ‘weapons of war’ during her address at the United Nations in New York several years ago. She used such language because these criminals have literally declared war upon the common people and consider those who oppose them to be adversaries that necessitate active measures in order to be silenced.
While online censorship is an issue that would be met largely with disapproval by the general public, in the meantime both Counterspin Media as well as FreeNZ Media, who operate on minimal budgets, have had equipment taken by the New Zealand Police, with the effect of hindering our broadcasting capabilities. And in any case, surveillance considerations dictate that even if returned after seizure, electronic equipment is often no longer usable.
The absence of proper equipment was no barrier to Spartacus and his fellow gladitorial slaves in ancient Rome, however, who initially improvised armaments from the cutlery found in the kitchen cupboards of their barracks during their revolt, before having the opportunity to adequately arm themselves later. So too, will Counterspin Media, who are the people’s platform, always improvise our way around any obstacle that is thrown before us.
Unlike other alternative media platforms, Counterspin Media will never be a ‘pay to say’ platform. We have in the past been confronted with the issue of support which took an unexpected ‘conditional’ turn and which we promptly declined. And while we are grateful for donations that are offered generously to the cause, we are unable to compromise our independence in exchange.
After all, for independent journalism to exist, one’s fidelity to the truth must be enshrined above all else. So long as one is dependent on conditional donations and supporters, however, this sagacious principle and the independent nature of journalism will always be at risk – regardless of whether one is part of the mainstream or the alternative media.
In this respect, it was during a rare moment of integrity that prominent New York journalist John Swinton, much to the displeasure of his colleagues, retorted after receiving a toast to the ‘independent press’ by a guest at a banquet in 1880, that:
“There is no such thing, at this date of the world’s history, in America, as an independent press. You know it and I know it.
“There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinion out of the paper I am connected with.
“Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job. If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone.
“The business of the journalists is to destroy the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. You know it and I know it, and what folly is this toasting an independent press?
“We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes.”
In addition to our insistence on financial independence, Counterspin Media has also been upfront about perceived conflicts of interest and loyalties. During the intense shadow-banning by other alternative media outlets during the last election, Counterspin Media publicly stated our support for the New Zealand Loyal Party as the only viable and truly independent option.
And yes, co-founder Kelvyn Alp was once a member of a Lodge and has had a colourful life. It is that very same love of acquiring knowledge, of mysticism and of adventure, that has driven other members of the Counterspin Media team as well, who have had Anthroposophical Christian as well as Vedic influences, to look beyond the mediocrity and seek out wisdom. And while we all have our own ways of seeking spiritual enrichment, we are as a whole not shackled by religious dogma, nor are we limited by institutional constructs.
Indeed, despite the fake news media denigrating us as being ‘far-right’, Counterspin Media have a broad scope of awareness and our influences are not limited by the predetermined parameters of a political paradigm that has been engineered by those who seek to divide and rule over us. As we have made clear from the very beginning, we are neither left nor right nor centre and are based on facts and evidence – wherever they lead to.
Admittedly, Kelvyn Alp’s lack of hair may be a contributing factor in the persistent allegations of being associated with a so-called ‘far-right’. We do however, welcome the allegation that we have been ‘right so far’.
Our status of being a size too large or a size too small to fit into any predetermined category, is a point of difference that many fellow freedom folks find appealing. And the brand that has evolved around the antics of spitting truth to power, tearing up the script on camera and of being raided by the cops is not inconsistent with our mission as a whole.
Indeed, our manifesto for media for, by and of the people, is a simple one:
- We are the crunch of the apple picked from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil in the Garden of Eden, which was forbidden to Adam and Eve. We are not limited by dogma and have an appetite for knowledge – particularly the forbidden kind.
- We are the sight and sound of heavy diesel-powered machinery that has been at the heart of rural New Zealand for generations and which has become a symbol of rebellion against wokeness and compliance.
- We are the humble and utilitarian gumboot that has been worn by generations of farmers, as well as the go-to number eight wire – both figurative and literal.
- We are rebels with a cause who are dissatisfied and are willing to do something about it, much like the handful of journalists in the sixties who, after growing dissatisfaction with the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation’s broadcasting monopoly, drove a boat into international waters in the Hauraki Gulf to begin broadcasting on their own.
- We are insomniacs, for, as it has been said, those who sleep don’t know and those who know cannot sleep. We’re up all night like many of you, but are reminded that what is night for the mediocre majority, is the time of awakening for the introspective few.
And so, while Counterspin Media may not be for everyone, we are comfortable with our place in the Great Awakening of the New Zealand people. No longer will we surrender our rights, our freedoms and our dignity to those who seek to do our nation harm.
If you feel inspired to contribute to the mission of making media in this country great again, please support our efforts. We are a small team of volunteers, delivering well above our budget. We want to expand our efforts, but we need your support in order to take this all the way.
